The images are stills from an animation of geo-coded Tweets composited from a number of layers. The background structure is formed from a scatter plot of the complete set of the tweets over a number of months. On top of this are fragments of the tweet texts over a number of hours, and the foreground shows tweets relating to search term themes over an hour.
